As part of week 5's DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we now have a Scavenger Hunt for the Wolf School Gear. It was released on the 18th of June 2015. It was what many players of the game wished to see introduced, as all other Witcher schools got their own armor set. The set includes chest armor, steel and silver swords, gauntlets, boots, and trousers, all of which are upgradeable, and all legendary gear are stronger versions of base game gear in New Game +.
the Grandmaster Wolven Witcher Gear is containted in the Blood and Wine expansion for The Witcher 3. It can only be crafted by the Grandmaster Smith in Beauclair. As with the other schools, there are four pieces of armor to acquire along with two swords.

This set requires level 14. It is a medium armor gear and is ideal for a mixed build with light and fast-paced attacks and signs usage. Being a jack of all trades, the Wolf School witcher gear set will not excel in any of the categories, but allows for great versatility and fun gameplay experience.
This page of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt guide describes the basic wolf school gear. We describe the requirements the basic wolf set has, where to look for diagrams, what items are included in the basic wolf school gear, and what statistics they have.
What are the best armor and gear sets in The Witcher 3? The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's witcher gear sets are your go-to source for the strongest armor and weaponry in the game for our dear old Butcher of Blaviken. Each set belongs to a different witcher school, so the blueprints for these unique pieces of equipment must be tracked down in Scavenger missions, then crafted with very particular materials.
Griffin Gear is the first major set of witcher gear you'll be able to gain access to once you enter Velen and Novigrad. The main perk of this set of medium armor (and its associated swords) is a decent buff to sign intensity with each equipped piece.
Another witcher gear set only available once you've downloaded the associated free DLC, the Wolven Gear Set is a lovely set of medium armor and swords which gives players a jack-of-all-trades option regarding their equipment choices.
If you're after armor, ignore the Teigr Gear Set completely, as all it contains is a single steel sword. I'm just including it here for the sake of completion, as it is technically a witcher gear set.
Conversing with Reinald's ill-fated spirit gave Geralt the exciting chance to forge anew some ancient, forgotten Wolven armor. If he also tracked down the noted left by the witcher Osmund, Geralt could even improve upon Reinald's frankly experimental gear.
The School of the Wolf was a school of witchers headquartered at Kaer Morhen in Kaedwen. It was founded in the year 980 by Barmin and was officially dissolved in the winter of 1272 following the death of the witcher Vesemir. The School is succeeded by its splinter groups the School of the Fox and later the School of the Lynx
The Order of Witchers had almost completely splintered, only a small group of witchers remained in its keep after the third group of witchers had left to build their own school. These last witchers led by Barmin left Morgraig twenty years after the fracturing and travelled east. They decided to settle in the north in the caves of the Morhen Valley. Barmin makes it the school's intention of creating a well-rounded and trained, truly professional Witcher. The witchers find the abandoned elven keep of Kaer Morhen. This same year Vesemir is born, it is unknown when he joins but it is probably in his late childhood.
A massive attack on Kaer Morhen by an enraged mob led by a group of mages, priests and peasants who used propaganda to whisk dissent for the profession into a frenzy. Most of the witchers present at the keep were killed. Though the pogrom was condemned, the school never regained its full functionality. Vesemir and the trainees at the time were the only survivors, any others were not present at the keep at the time. *Conflicting accounts place this group of trainees as Geralt's group or the group before it.*
Witchers of the school of the Wolf focused on honing their sword skills above all else and having even skill sets overall, the primary sword style taught and practiced at Kaer Morhen the Temerian Devil was devised by Temerian landsknechts, simple men. It is a style that works best against heavy, armored opponents and did the most damage out of the three school shared witcher sword styles.
The school had plans for a set of rank based medium weight armor made of leather, chainmail and eventually pieces of plate armor to help future witchers on the path this project was run by the witcher Elgar, though few if any got to actually wear the armor as he died before circulating the armor through the school. Adalwulf of Aedirn as well as the famed Geralt of Rivia wore their school armor at one point during their careers. The former made a point to wear his until the fall of his school as a sign of loyalty to his wolven family.
The swords of the school such as the silver sword featured an intricate pommel of two serpentine wolf heads which intertwine around each other while the steel sword featured a round pommel and the guard which eventually turns into a twisted S guard.
I have a major problem. I downloaded the dlc for the wolf school witcher gear. Then i proceeded to find all of the upgrades for every element of the gear. But the problem is that i literally cant find the base weapons and armor. I looked up walkthroughs for the gear and went to the locations to get them ie. The skeletons in kaer morhen and they do not glow red for me to loot them. Has anyone else experience this?? If so please tell me how to fix this if u figured it out. I hope i dont have to back track to an older save. 2ff7e9595c
